Ideas for Wedding Themes and How to Use Them

Many people now opt for a color scheme or a theme to their wedding. Color schemes offer something subtle and can also create a formal look, which may be something that you are looking for, while wedding themes offer fun and romance. There are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to incorporating themes or color schemes are here are some popular options.

Using a Butterfly Theme

The butterfly theme is one of the most popular wedding themes and is extremely simple to do. The benefit of this option is that it does not go too over the top and you can just add subtle hints of the theme – including subtle hints on your wedding invitations or save the date cards. Another benefit is the fact that butterflies can be used within a budget wedding.

Flowers are another popular option and like butterflies are extremely easy to use. A flower wedding theme is something that my partner and I are using since I am from Yorkshire – White Rose County (for those who do not understand this, check out any history about the War of the Roses and the battles between the Houses of York and Lancaster in the 15th century). My partner is from Scotland, so we are using a white rose and thistle idea.

Using Your Color Scheme or Theme

Whichever idea you choose, it is like that you are looking for ways to incorporate in your wedding. One of the easiest ways, depending on the theme, is through the wedding invitations. You can create a multidimensional look by using craft butterflies or dried flowers on your invites to send to guests. Another option is to use it for your table decorations.

A wedding color scheme is extremely easy to use. It is possible to opt for bridesmaid dresses in the color scheme and also look for chair covers and sashes. This is arguably one of the easiest options for any wedding, especially for a budget wedding.
